International Environment Seminar
The International Seminar on the Environment is a major event that seeks to bring together UK experts, academics, activists, government representatives and members of civil society to Brazil to discuss and debate the challenges and solutions related to the environment. The event will be held in Brasilia, capital of Brazil, on the 4th of December 2023, the tree dressing day that occurs annually on the first weekend of December. In England they celebrate the importance of trees to encourage us to value and care for them. Tree Dressing Day was initiated by Common Ground, a UK-based charity based in Dorset, which has been at the forefront of community conservation and environmental education in England for over 30 years.

MIND THE GREEN is also working in partnership with APSC
APSC is the organisation who have been delivering the + ARTE - LIXO no Planeta e na Alma project (meaning - More Art and less Garbage in the Planet and in the Soul) a project that is working with the soul of the communities in London through Arts Therapy Workshops that aims at healing the pain of the human souls by using creativity to transform garbage into art.

From the experience of APSC Art Therapy teacher Solange Castro and her experience with garbage collection, art and her philosophical and therapeutic baggage; aims to re-signify history by disarming conceptual traps that allow rethinking and re-signifying traumas and frustrations, as well as understanding oneself. Recognising in the artistic process that transforms the garbage, the useless, the dirty, the ugly into something beautiful, useful, valuable and admirable, a metaphor that applied to life itself has the possibility of rethinking, reviewing your beliefs, resignifying your negative experiences, giving other alternatives for understanding their experiences, thus allowing them to broaden the horizon of perception of the permanent construction of the new.
